What are your hours of operation?


We open cat 7:30 am and close at 5:30 pm daily. We are open year round. We are closed on all statutory holidays.




Do you offer full time and part time care?


For infant, we offer full time only. We have found that infants transition better into care when they are enrolled in a full time program. For toddlers and preschoolers, we offer full time, as well as limited part time spaces.




Do you offer half day programs?


No we do not. Adventurers programs are designed to be full day care, so that children can participate in all the activities throughout the day.




What are the ages of children you accept?


Adventurers offers care of children as young as 3 months old, up to 5 years old.




Can I take a tour before I enroll my child?


Yes. At Adventurers, we invite all families to schedule a tour prior to registration. A registration package will be provided during the tour.




How secure are your locations?


Our main doors require a parent key to enter the building. Safety is a very high priority, therefore people who do not have a key are required to check in and provide documentation/ID when entering our centre.




My child has special educational needs, can they attend?


We are an inclusive centre, and care for children of all abilities.




How much does it cost?


The program fees vary based on age group, schedule, etc. Please contact the centre directly for more information.




I would like to be added to your waitlist. What is the best way?


We encourage everyone interested in being added to our waitlist to email our Director, Crystal at burnside@adventurersccc.ca




Do you provide meals?


We provide 2 snacks and 1 meal each day. Everything is prepared on-site by our two cooks.




Do you offer before & after school programs?


Unfortunately, at this time, there are no before and after school programs offered.




How often do the children play outside?


Children are required to go outside for 30 mins, two times per day. We have access to great walking trails and our offsite playground allows for some quality outdoor time, and we take advantage of that!




How do I register?


To register, you would contact our Director for a tour of our centre. During that time, you will be given an enrollment package to register with us. A fee of $100.00 is required to accept your registration ($80.00 registration fee, $20.00 key deposit) plus a $400.00 deposit which will be applied to your first months fees.




Why do you require a deposit for the key? Can I get more than one?


Our keys are how we maintain the safety in the centre. We have found that asking for a deposit limits how often they go missing. Should you require an additional parent key, you can pay another key deposit of $20.00. All key deposits are fully refundable, as long as they are returned the day your care ends with us.
