Crystal C
Director
Crystal graduated from the Child & Youth BAA program at MSVU in 2011. She has been working at Adventurers since 2012. She took the role of Director, in 2017. She oversees staffing, manages enrollment and much more.
JANET T
Owner
Janet has been working in the childcare industry for over 25 years. She graduated with a Diploma in Early Childhood education from Sheridan College in Ontario, and holds her level 2 classification. After relocating to Nova Scotia and working as a director in other centres, Janet decided to open her own. In 2004, Adventurers Child Care Centre was opened.
Angela P
Assistant Director
Angela graduated from the Child & Youth BAA program at MSVU in 2006. She joined the team at Adventurers in 2020 as the Asssistant Director, she has over 15 years expereince as an ECE

Victoria C
Inclusion Coordinator
Victoria graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education. She started with us in the infant classroom in 2021 and has been our full time inclusion coordinator since July 2023.

Along with our office and support staff, we have 16 wonderful Early Childhood Educators and a fantastic on-site cook. All of our staff have current child abuse registry checks, vulnerable sector checks and valid first aid certificates. We have staff who have been with us for as long as 5 and 10 plus years. Adventurers continues to provide professional development to our employees.
Our staff share our goals and vision, but come from all different backgrounds and reflect diverse families and communities. Photos of the staff are posted on our tree in the front of both centres.
